ABOUT ME

Steppin' In Line Dancers holds four classes a week in Cooroy, Pomona, Tinbeerwah and Gympie Queensland. Our classes cater for all levels from beginner to advanced.

 

My Mother introduced me to Line dancing 18 years ago, and from the moment I went to my first class I was hooked.

​I started dancing with Sue & Leon Butcher at Runaround Sioux. After approx. 12 months Sue asked me to fill in for her teaching the odd class while she was away.

​From there we started the first Cooroy class under their banner.

After about 2 years I took the class over, forming Steppin' In Line. That was 14 years ago with the classes going from strength to strength.

 

​I would call Line dancing my lifeline! There is no better feeling than being able to express yourself on the dance floor. It is very healing. I have so many friends that have been made through Line dancing & our mutual love for what we do.

 

​My 3 children also share my love for it & I am proud to have my two daughters Stacey (27) and Tia (19) dancing alongside me. I believe dancing should be fun, with no pressure and this is reflected in my classes. We are one big family & the social aspect of my classes is just as important to my students and myself as the dancing is.

 

​I cant imagine my life without Line dancing and would encourage everyone to give it a go. I can guarantee it will fill your life with fun, friendship and a love like no other.
